Fall 2008 Mustangs
Tim Halloran, First Year Head Coach for the Men's
Program at Portage Central and Varsity Assistant Andrew Rice, will gear
up the Mustangs to attempt a repeat as SMAC Central Division Champs and
hope to get back the SMAC Championship. The Division I Portage
Central team brings eleven seniors that have the experience it takes to
lead the squad of talented players on the pitch. PC opens with the
Saline Hornet Classic, come home to the Portage Invitational and ready
up for tough non-conference matches and the SMAC league. The Mustangs
finished the 2007 year with a record of 9 - 8 - 3. |
Spring 2008 Lady Mustangs
Coach Pat Norman brings a young
Portage Central team to the pitch this year as four seniors return to
lead the squad. The Mustangs will to attempt to capture
another SMAC Conference title. Portage Central will see many new
talented faces as the team graduated eleven seniors from the class of
2007. Last year's team won the SMAC and the District Championship
and then fell to the "would be" state champs in the region semifinal.
The team posted a record of 17-5-1. This 2008 team will pursue the journey to
get back to the regional ring and beyond. Good Luck Lady Mustangs! |
